in-line, 2022

 

Inspired by metal manipulating techniques, the red rectangular-shaped stool mimics the hue and texture that appears as a result of corrosion. Vertical and horizontal lines intertwine from different angles and play with the inside and outside space of the open structure. Due to it being a freestanding floor object, in-line defines a spacial relationship that can be seen as a work of art in its entirety. 

 

Produced in red anodized aluminium, glass bead blasted.
